I have a chance to buy a sewing cabinet made for a Bernina 930 and can't fi gure out if it will work for my Bernina 1000 special or not. It's a 2 plus hour drive to see the thing so don't want to go if there is no chance of i t working. But the photos of the two models look very similar...just can't find any actual specs on the 930. The ad says the cabinet will also work f or a 730 or 830 but does not mention the 1000. Any help out there?

All free arm cabinets will fit all free arm machines. The difference would be you may have to purchase or have made a new insert to cover the open space in the hole.
