Someone has asked me to put some side hems on some voile curtains they had made at the shop. The shop left them raw and they are very badly cut up to



3" out from top to bottom. I usually overlock and turn in a hem do you think this would do in this case the voile is very fine. Liz

Why not do a rolled hem?

Do you have a beading foot for the serger? If so, unpick a couple of inches of the lead tape and roll the sides, then just stitch the lead tape back on after wards...
