Something I'd like to see from the manufacturers: some kind of wickaway stretch velvet. I would *love* to have a stretch velvet bike jersey, for those cold winter rides.

course the retail store has more choices if you are any where near Lawrence Massachusetts. At the store they have lots of choices of different weight and finish. It's not true velvet, but they have velvet like finishes.

LOL, I can assure you if gabrielle wants wicking stretch velvet, that is exactly what she wants. It would have to be polyester based, anyone ever see poly velvet with a lycra component?

Oh yeah, I have a bunch of skiwear made out of that. I'd really like a
*velvet*, complete with the rich pile & color. :) It would be especially fun in a leopard print.I need to own my own textile mill.

Not wicking, just a very plush bitter chocolate knitted velvet with Lycra for stretch. Yummy stuff... I also have some in a marled hot chocolate drink colour, almost as yummy...
