I'm going to toss an old 18 hr bra and remembered that some of you ladies make your own bras. Anyone want the wide portion of the straps and the 4 hook closure? First person in the US who answers will get it. Barbara in SC

You actually read as kind of peevish that nobody wanted your used bra straps. I mean, really... Eww.
I'm sorry to be disagreeable, but IMO that remark is in the category of things better left unsaid.

Seriously, in what part of the world would the offer of used elastic straps worn against bare skin be considered such a boon that the lack of interest would merit comment?
hmm, costumers would welcome them, after all, costumes get worn by multiple people over the course of their lifetime. Were I making lingerie, I would have taken them, even if it was for the initial attempts and nothing else.
I agree, that your comment was better left unsaid. The offer was made from someone who actually knows that there are members of this group that, if they were working on a project that needed them, would have snapped them up in a heartbeat

And, in case you didn't notice, I said *nothing* about the initial posting in which the items were offered. My post was directed at the petulant follow-up posted by the OP when she failed to be deluged with requests for her used lingerie components.
