Since she has loved how the panties and tank top I made for her turned out and how they fit, Jill has asked me to make her a bra. Since this will easily dovetail into the babydoll I wanted to make for her, I thought why not. So we took the time to measure her properly for size. I checked on some of the web sites that sell bras and followed the instructions vary carefully. I think they are all full of it. According to the experts and their formulas, chest, right under the bust, snug, but not tight, 38.5inches. Across the fullest part of the bust, 44. Formula says take the chest, add 5 for the band size, round up to the next even number gets her a 44. Since the fullest part of the bust is also 44, that means she is a 44AA? However, her favorite bra (the one she says is most comfortable and offers just the right support) is a 38B.
So, what do you say ladies? Are these sites as full of it as they seem? Or is Jill just comfortable in a bra that has too tight of a band and the wrong size cup? The bra she has doesn't seem excessively tight, only leaves the slightest band mark on her sides and none anywhere else. I could see going up by perhaps an inch to 39, but 44?
