I am caregiver to my mother who lives with us, all this to say I had to find a medium to help others but still be at home. My solution? I make and donate chemo caps and cancer pillows to any who will contact me privately. I sew the pillows to be completely washable and dryer friendly- you know, a use for all those scraps in my stash that are too big or too pretty to throw away. The caps are either from scraps or crocheted or knitted. I use my ellegante to embroider on some pillows as well. Love that ellegante!
