going over the top, at least in my mind

I am still brainstorming, someday SOmeone will put me in the hospital for that.

I have nine yards of a light silk with a woven pattern of the same color in it, pretty bright pink, sort of carnation I guess. anyway, I'm imagining a pink linen of the same or nearly the same color, and what would it look like to outline the flower pattern on it in pale pink pearls or sparkley beads, then do the same design on the hem of the linen skirt and down the front of the bodice?

Highly unlikely, I admit, not enough time, but I wonder how that would go?

Or WHOA, what if a person made up a sage or other green skirt and jacket, and did the blouse design in the hem and opening bodice of the jacket in the pink colors. I'm so in love with that idea I almost woke up there for a minute!!

have fun with this idea. I should sell that silk before it gets me in trouble.

Heh, heh, the picture in my mind is easy, the actual sewing is HARD, especially in stolen minutes between babies. I highly doubt I will have time to do this at all, just imagining if I had all the time in the world. too bad. It would have been fun. Kitty

I'll have to consider that. first I need to find the linen and buy it. then I guess I should make the garments, then worry about whether I have time to do beading. the figures woven into the fabric are roses, don't know how it will work. Kitty
