That is a shame it is closing down. Does anyone know why? There is some cute stuff there. Check out the bra purse.

The reason is that the 80-some year old Home Sewing Association is closing down, and they maintain the sewing.org site.
It's a shame, too. Now there will be NO ONE to pull for the home sewist.

Thanks for posting this, Sharon. I saw this on a list I'm on, but did not read the reason for their decision to close. How awful! And how awful for the industry. It's truly sad.
