Highland Blouse

I have added a few pictures of the blouse I made recently for a Highland dancer:

This was about a 1.5 hour project, excluding the vest repair. If I make any of these in the future I will be giving stronger advice about the RTW tank top, as this one had such low armholes it was difficult to make the sleeves fit the vest properly.

It might have been quicker and easier to make a blouse from scratch!

I agree! However this is what the mother wanted, she had it set in her mind that a stretchy tank-top would fit close to the body, and be better than the commercially made blouses. I could have made a similar top in stretch fabric and it would have been a better fit all around.

Thanks!

Thanks! I just added a new project, sewing 'related' but not actual sewing this time. ;->
