Walking past this shop in the city the other day, I noticed it's having a closing down sale. That only leaves Lincraft (what's left of it) in the city to sell fabric. The Lincraft at Chatswood has closed down so there aren't many places for us inner city livers to buy fabric now. Any suggestions?

Buy on-line! I've had some excellent postal and email buying experiences. You just need some imagination and a leap of faith! :) I'm about to order/collect some silver with sequins for a stage costume, and some delish bronze silk...
Well if you're feeling extravagant there's always the Silk Shop in Piccadilly Arcade, and Tessuti in the Glasshouse. Nice stuff, but not cheap.
The closest Spotlight would probably be Birkenhead Point ? hardly inner city.
And a bit awkward to get to by public transport :-(
Also Target Ashfield is closing down this week :-(
