I think I have the bodice figured out - I will sew the lace to the bodice and treat it as one, then line. The muslin reinforced the need for a zipper - I'm going to put it down the left side seam of the bodice. I am comfortable doing invisible zips but not sure if this is a good idea when I have the lace/fabric together. Do you think it would work out OK? Do I hand-sew the lining to the edges of the zipper? thanks again for any advice.
