I am doing a dressmaking course

Hi , I have just joined this group , i am doing a nightclasscourse on dressmaking , have done five classes so far out of ten on the courseand Immaking a pair of mens knee length shorts on the course. The reason im doing the course is because well I,ve never beencomfortablein the trousers available for men in shops , so I came up with theidea to make myown , you see I think the trousers being sold for men are being madefor mannequinswithout regard to the fact that a human male is shaped differentlythan a mannequinn,and here in western countries there is no other option for men otherthan trousers becauseof the influence of borgeoise industrialists in the nineteenth centurywho brought strict dresscodes for males into this society and this is now inbuilt into thefabric of society. When I first signed onto this course I was laughed at by theorganisers of the course,I presume because of my gender , and the first night of the course thewomen doing theclass laughhed at me, I wonder what would happen do you think if awoman went to doa course in woodwork and she was ridiculed by the men an the course inthe way i am beingridiculed for doing a dressmaking course , you see Im doing thiscourse because there is nonightclasses in tailering , see this is my only option to learn to sew.

i want one, but i really want the one made by Mountain Boy Sledworks because it has welded rings on the fronts of both runners for mushing (they also sell a mushing package, but i get my mushing stuff from Black Ice Sleddogs). Mountain Boy also has a 6 wheel package so you can use your kicksled on the road in summer too. i'd give you a URL to see, but it's down right now. lee
