Can anyone point me in the direction as to where to find the rubber type insulated backing already on drapery fabric ? I have considered making my own front window drapes ,125" wide -drapes. I already have purchase ones years ago with this rubber type backing and thought this would be easier to try to make myself rather then the two step lining idea. I have also consider purchasing just the horizontal blinds and picking out my own fabric and attempting to do myself . Has anyone ever done this and is it as easy as I "think"? Again, I have price just the horizontal blinds and am hoping I can find them of good quality But, at a Sale/discount price. Information on sale/discount horizontal blinds also appreciated.

Any decent curtain fabric warehouse should have several different versions, and should have it as separate lining fabric too. A good place to look for this sort of fabric retail place is your local Yellow Pages.
