drapery lining

Hello,

I'm new to this group. I'll soon be sewing drapes for my kitchen area. I'd like to know if there's any advice as to what type of lining is best?

I'll be using Waverly's fabric "Garden Images" and have selected 3 other Swavelle Mill Creek 100% cotton fabrics for the trim, chair pads, shades etc.

While searching I found a " Thermal Suede White Insulated Lining" eliminates the discomforts of drafty windows and helps prevent sun fading. It's a closely woven fabric with a Velvetsuede coating which supposedly gives stability to the fabric it lines, as well as a luxurious touch 70% Poly/30% Cotton.

Does anyone have any experience using this fabric for lining?

Thanks in advance for any info you may provide.

A lot of people use Roclon drapery linings. Atlanta Thread has a reasonable selection of linings:
