I'm going to be making two swag drapes for a customer soon. Each is 7' X 52". These are to be lined so that the wrong side of the material, which is not attractive, can be hidden. My question is: will the lining hang away from the drapery material when the drapes are positioned over and around the rod and thus cause an unintended look? If so, how can this separation be handled? Any positive or negative experience with this type of project would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Valerie from KlothWerks

Amey, Thanks for the great M'Fay.com site. The basic pole swag shown there is the idea we're going after. The reason for the lining is so that the wrong side of the fabric won't show as you look in the window from outside and won't show on the vertical side portions. I'm thinking that the top parts of the jabots that rest on the pole could be basted holding the lining and fabric together
Thanks, Valerie from KlothWerks
