OK so lets go public, who else has registered to go and who else is planning on joining us! Amy your excitement is catchy!!

For those who are new, RCS is having a Meet'up at the Geneva Dairy Barn in Indiana on May 5,6 and 7. Some of us are hoping to stay the night of the

4th and the 7th. You need to be a "regular member" that is somone who has been posting here on a regular basis for more that 3 months to be eligible. We have a friend's list as well. By posting regularly, we mean more that three word posts and if you can sharing your layouts with the rest of us.

There is still plenty of room (about 9 spots in the Barn for sleepers and

I thought you were going and had paid, but I didn't see your name there, so I am hoping that everyone who is going and all those who are going and have paid will take the time to go over there and add their names to the paid/unpaid but going poll and the how many days are you wanting to stay poll. Perhaps, if everyone does, I'll actually be able to answer that question for you by next week! :) M-C

M-C, I've registered and paid my deposit tonight. I'll be driving in on Friday and staying until Sunday. Already thinking about what to pack....... Sandy

I'm going. I'll be staying as long as we can (arriving Thursday and leaving when they push me out the door on Monday!). I'm hoping to bring a friend, but waiting until we know the numbers of regulars.

I would like to do something when it gets closer, but maybe y'all can think about it now. I wanted to send out a survey/questionaire to everybody who is going. This would include questions like "What is the most embarassing thing that has happened to you?" and "How did you meet your SO (if you have one)?", etc. I would have the answers sent to me only then when we are scrapping, I could do a quiz/game thing where I give a scenario and ask WHO that was. Does this make sense? As an example, I could ask which person was so excited to meet George Eads that they wet their pants. NO! This didn't happen to me! I'm sure it would if I did meet him, but anyway... Y'all would guess who that was. Whoever got the most stuff right would get a prize. Y'all would have to NOT talk to each other about y'all's answers or it wouldn't work! The prize will be scrapbooking-related, but more of a "token prize" and nothing high $$$ so no need to cheat! LOL

Does this sound like something y'all would be interested in?

M-C, I will be there Friday through Sunday. However, now that you mention it...I remember entering May 5th, but I don't remember entering the number of nights or checkout date. I used the code. I'm going to have to double check my info.

Cecilia, I think a game would be fun to participate in while we are scrapping! It would be a fun way for those who havent met already to get to know everyone! I went to an all day crop last year, and they played games and gave away door prizes throughout the day. It really made the day fun! One of the games we played... the host of the event rang a bell periodically, like every hour or so..and you had to hold up one of your tools or supplies that you were using at THAT moment. They had made up strips of paper ahead of time with the names of tools and supplies on it, and put them in a hat. Whomever had that tool in their hand when they drew it, got a door prize!

Thanks Sabrina, it was fun to see what everyone won! This particular all day crop was held at a LSS, and there were at least 30 people there.( It was very crowded, I might add!) The owner had periods of time where he would offer a 30% off sale for an hour. He also had a couple of raffles going on, and I won the grand prize drawing at the end of the day!! It was a pair of genuine pearl earrings! This was also the very first crop I had ever been too, so it was very memorable!

Wow!! All the excitement ya'll are building up is making me sad :(. It is just that time of the year is our busy time and I can not get off even more than likely. If I am out and about back there at that time, I told MC I will stop in and say HI!!
