What do you think...

Ask Deb, I've spent a huge amount of hours creating this ad and I wanted to share it with you, It has been approved for publication in Scrapbook Answers by TLC HO. I'd really like to hear what everyone thinks of it. I was hoping to show it before I had to send it in, but there is always a chance that the magazine will want something changed or for the next issue. Also the part with the Christmas stuff will be changed every ad to reflect something appropriate for that edition. And of course the Wall Avenue stuff will be changed out in April when new stuff comes out!

Thanks for looking ladies and gents, you know that your comments are important to me.

Oups... I forgot to tell you where to look:

WOW!

It really looks terrific and professional! Good for you I hope it brings much success!

Thanks Melissa. I learned a lot of stuff working on it. As everyone knows they had to put a new hard drive in my main computer and I had to reload programs. I had version 3 of Photoshop Elements that had been sitting there for s few weeks and installed it a couple of days ago. It is so much better and easier to use than version 2. We got it bundled with Adobe Premiere Elements which i have not had a chance to look at yet. If you get a chance tu get PE V.3 do yourselves a favor and get ti!

M-C I think it looks wonderful!! You have done a very professional job!! I like the way you will be able to swap out the "theme" portion of the ad as the seasons change. Nicely done!!!!! (applauding)

MC,

As someone who used to work in Advertising -- it's perfect.

You should look into bus shelters to really get the word out.

Way to go, Kate

M-C, I love you AD !! It has a whimsey comparable to Annie Lang! Very clever. You are very creative. I wish you much good luck with it.

Thanks Lynne. That is exactly the effect I had hoped for!

M-C

Thanks Sabrina! I hope so too. There comes a time when one has to cover the costs of everything they do!

M-C

Thanks Chrissy. I'm glad to see that your reaction is what I hoped for. Now I have to hope that Scrapbook Answers is also happy with it!

M-C

Wow! That's quite a complement, RJ. Thanks!

Thanks Linda.. Did I mention tht I worked for 3 hours one night and my computer seized and stupid me had not saved? Of course I used about 25 different layers just to get the logo area at the top to look ok!

M-C

Thanks Lin. TLC has been good so far!

M-C

Thanks Kenda. I though it would be more fun and that perhaps some people would start looking at the ad to see what else was on there. Now the last hurdle is to actually get it out there in print!!!

M-C

Thanks Kate. I spent a long time looking at all the ads out there before doing mine. I also found it fairly easy to work with that size. I think a square ad would have been a lot harder! The bus shelters are an excellent idea, but that must cost a fortune! It also made me think that you obviously live in a city with a good public transit system. I haven't seen a bus shelter, other than when I went to Atlanta or NY since I left Ottawa! And all I can say is that neither St Petersburg nor Little Rock have public transit worth mentionning.
