????Scrapbook Answers Mag???

Funny you should mention that Kenda but I went to Books A Million looking for a copy of SA and couldn't find it. I used to have a subscription but let it run out so I could get Scrapbooks Etc. but I like SA better. I missed that thread too, and am interested in the answer. Hilda

Dear Scrapbook Answers readers,

As you may have already heard through the Internet grapevine, our November

2006 issue will be our last. In the year that we were in publication, we received tremendously positive response from readers and the scrapbook industry. People told us that our approach to sharing scrapbook how-to information was useful, fresh, and down-to-earth. The Answers Disc was one-of-a-kind among scrapbook magazines.

We want to thank every single reader, contributor, and vendor who helped Scrapbook Answers make its mark on the scrapbooking world. We will miss you terribly. Your support and enthusiasm helped keep us motivated to plan and create each new issue of the magazine.

I had purchased a two year subscription to SA just before the Nov 2006 issue came out. I wondered what they were going to do about folks like me, but I was willing to wait a while and see. About 2 months later, I got a notice saying my subscription had been transferred to Scrapbooks Etc magazine. Like most everyone here, I'd have preferred to keep Scrapbook Answers, but I'll settle for that. I do miss those discs, though.

I wonder why they quit publishing, they were the best magazine. SB Etc. comes in second, I wonder if some of the staff moved on over to Etc? Thanks for letting us know that they went out of circulation. Hilda

Do you like the Scrapbook Etc? I don't think I've ever picked up an issue. I really miss SA, they were really informative. I can't think they weren't making money. hmm...
