Today and tomorrow is the inventory clearance sale at one of the two LYS here in town. The store in question carries lots of froofy stuff I wouldn't touch with a very long stick, but also some good basics. I've spent the past few days poring over projects I've been intending to make but haven't - usually because I want EXACTLY the yarn used by the designer even if I do plan to modify the pattern to some greater or lesser degree.
So, today I'm going to open the store. With luck I'll find enough Kureyon in one of the two colorways I really want to make my own Wallaby. I'm also going to stash up on Cascade220 with no particular projects in mind - its just good basic wool yarn and handy to have in the stash in a rainbow selection. AND, I'm going to grab up enough Zephyr for several shawls.
No, I won't be doing the knitting anytime soon, but I'll have the stuff down the road when I'm able to knit again.
Yay foreplay!
