Kate's dark chocolate orange!

The chocolate project continues...

Yesterday I cut out and started the burnt orange shrug to go with my chocolate project. Today I did the niftiest lettuce edge on it with the Brother serger. :) I am well chuffed with it! I have taken plenty of pix of how I did it to add to the chocolate project. I'm hoping to get them up later today, but don't hold yer breff - the news server has indigestion and keeps hiccupping! All I need to do to complete the shrug is finish off the front/neck edge with the twin needle on Lily.

This is another Prima magazine free pattern. The more I use these freeby things the better impressed I am with them. They seem to be better drafted than a lot of Vogue patterns I've used this summer!

I'm still debating whether I want to make another little top out of the rest of the bitter chocolate velour next, or chop into something else...

Chocolate coated lettuce sounds a lot better than chocolate coated scorpions, wot I saw on the telly last night when Jonathan Ross made Gordon Ramsey eat one! :D

I see you can't help yourself with the references to food! Terry's chocolate oranges have finally become available here - one of the things I missed. Only Marmite and Angel Delight to go!

This is all the high fibre, low fat type... Though I DID buy 2.5 kilos of chocolate drops for the Christmas goodies... ;) 70.4% cocoa solids, and yer best Belgian yummy stuff!

Look, I never do anything by halves! Yup - even my chocolate stash is OTT! ;)
