Chocolate

Talked to my daughter for over an hour today. I am afraid to see the cell phone bills since she is in Israel until August. She said that she has been enjoying the best chocolate. Something with hazelnut along the lines of Nutrella. Can't wait for her to be back on US soil AND for her to bring me sample of this delight!

OK, now I am back to planning a HUG. Needed that required chocolate break.

Debbi, if your daughter also has a computer, y'all can talk for free with Yahoo Instant Messenger with Voice. All you need is a headset with microphone and you're in business. If you each had a webcam, you could actually SEE each other while talking, and still all for free. :)

They have Panda bars in Isreal.....mmmmmmmmm I'm not usually big on fruit in my chocolate, but those are _nummy_!

At least I think it is Panda bars. My brain keeps wanting to say panada, but that is the crackers all but dissolved in hot water and drowned in milk that my mom used to punish me with when I got sick as a kid.

NightMist to tired to think....

NAYY just the first site I found with a big picture and no selling stuff on the same page as the picture . I'm sure if you google the name you will find a gazillion other, maybe better, sites ;-)

We have those here in the States too. In fact I think the gas station chain we stop at has them.

Pat,

I agree with you which is why I did not mark it OT in the first place!\ I will have to let you guys know. I know it is not ferrero rocher as she eats those at home. This is something she has never had before. Only about 3 more weeks before I get to find out about this delicacy!

Speaking of heavenly chocolate treats. I picked one up at one of the touristy spots about an hour away from here -- a neat little polish restaurant. It is gingerbread covered in chocolate -- chewy gingerbread, as if it was literally a piece of gingerbread cake that was cut out and coated in chocolate (a rather dark chocoalte it tasted like).

The joy was unbelievable ;)

mmmmmm: Lebkuchen!

RobertaZ introduced us to the very best lebkuchen, last October. Yummm! I'm willing to taste-test other varieties, of course. Yeah, I think The Really Big Quilt Show in Houston is do-able this year. ;-D

I've had those! My father-in-law is a 1st generation German immigrant, and oh, those are WONDERFUL! I get them every Christmas over at his place.

I've got 5 months to go!
