Took a Free Class

Last summer, while at the Long Beach Quilt Show, my old neighbor and I each bought a Fab-U-Motion. I have tried using it at home several times and have not really been successful and thought I had really wasted my money. A couple of weeks ago, the shop where I bought my sewing machine sent out the updated list of classes. I usually just delete it since I am not too happy with them at this point in time. For some reason I decided to look at the classes and saw that they were offering one for the FAb-U-Motion. 3 of the locations they were charging $50, and the one closest to me was listed as 0.00 which is a price that fit perfectly into my budget. Sent GF an e-mail asking if she wanted to take the class. I then went ahead and registered both of us without waiting to hear back from her figuring I could cancel the reservation if she was not interested. When she got home from work she called me since she never saw anything about the class. I told her where I found it and when I went back to the website, the class was now listed as $50. Figured if they called and wanted the money, I would just drop the class. So.... Today was the class and I went. So fare I feel better about my Fab-U-Motion, but we shall see when next I do free form quilting. The class was no not worth $50. The teacher is not really very good and hasn't been the greatest for any other classes I have taken from her. So glad I didn't pay the money. Love it when things work out my way which isn't very often. Was a nice break from studying too.
