First crop this year

Jan 20, 2008 3 Replies

Got to attend a local church's "Scrap N' Share" free crop yesterday. Took Maya with me, she got 2 scrapbook kits for Christmas and she wanted to work on them. I spent almost 5 hours sorting and organizing a bunch of stuff I took, while the 7 y/o finished 4 pages for her scrapbook!! LOL. Still felt like a productive day to me. :-)

Hopefully this church will have more of these more often! Seems like all the other church crops have sort of withered away, pout. :-(

How exciting! Hopefully your church will have more of these events. A local Art/Scrapbooking store open in our town but she is never open when I go there, odd hours. She was suppose to have scrap classes and I called her (which the # listed come to find out is her home #) I guess she does hours as you need her to be open like you call her and then she opens. Any hoot she was suppose to do these classes but she's really not sure. I hope she decides to do them.

Thanks, Chrissy! Actually, it's not my church. My church is one of the ones that fizzled out. :-( Hope you find a place too! I always have a lot of fun.

One of the ways to find a group in your area or to start one is to go to

I run the one in my area and I have about 65 scrappers registered in the group. Of course not all of them show up at the same time, but there are a few that show up regularly and have become close friends! I currently have 10 yeses and 1 maybe for the next crop on 1 feb. I'm also working on going to CHA. I'll keep everyone posted and work on a blog if I do go.

Meanwhile I'm working on a number of projects including a little girl's scrapbook.
