Spent all day long yesterday at my first GAS (Great American Scrapbook Convention) crop and had a blast! :-)
Went with people I see at crop sometimes, and we were cracking up all day, what a lot of fun. :-) Got to visit with them and get to know more about them and I wish it was something I could do every single day, it was so fun--guess it wouldn't be special then, though, LOL. :-)
Can't write much now, gotta get ready for the shopping portion today... gotta get DH and Maya off to their places, and meet my friend for the hourlong drive to GAS. That's fun too, just visiting and talking about grown-up stuff for a change! ;-)
Not as much stuff to wag around today, it's just walking around a room that someone told me is a couple football fields in size FULL of vendors and places to do make and takes and get all kinds of free stuff--yippee!!
I didn't get to finish any pages yesterday (didn't have the right paper) but DID get a bunch of pictures 'framed' and some embellishments made so all I have to do is put the pages together when I have more time...I worked on the pictures of Maya's first dance recital (last weekend) and the basic colors are shades of teal/turquoise like her costume and it turned out really pretty, IMO. :-) I'll scan them so y'all can see later too.
Gotta go now, talk to y'all later!!! :-)

PS: Out of 250-300 ladies at the crop last night, I won one of the door prizes!! Got to tease the other ladies quite a bit (even though the prize was just some nice patterned papers and some rub on sheets). :-)
