Crop night last night - long

I have made the most wonderful friends at my crops which we now hold every other Monday. I've used Meetup.com to set up the crop group and I met every single lady that came last night through the me meetup group. Two of our younger ladies, both 23 drive 45 minutes to get here, one from north of my house and the other from her home south of here. Each has attended at least

5 crops now, one has been part of the group since our very first meeting. The ladies range in age from 23 to 69. Quite a range yet we all have a ball!

Last night 7 ladies came over. We had a Christmas crop with a raffle and some give aways. Everyone left here with a present. It was such a fun way for me to say thank you to them. First they got to pick a Christmas coupon,

1, 5 or $10 in TLC products. Then we had our pot luck and show and tell, always a great time where we catch up on what everyone has been doing both in their day to day lives and their crafting. We then got down to some scrapping, I never get anything done since I also run a mini store and answer tons of questions. Last night I sold off my sizzix machine, all my large dies, all my embossing folders in the folder case, and my sizzix rolling tote. Yeah! The ladies got a great deal and were thrilled, and I did way better than I would have selling it all on EBay and I didn't have to worry about packing and hauling all that heavy stuff to the post office or the UPS store. So I then had a raffle where I put everyone's name in a bag. I drew the first name and then the winner drew the next name. The first 4 ladies picked got a $1 coupon, the 5th a $5 coupon, the 6th a $10 coupon and the 7th got a crop-a-dile. They really enjoyed it and had fun shopping. The evenings always seem far too short, but I get to see most of the ladies between crops as well, so that's fun too.

I haven't had a chance to share my work in a while, so here is what I shared at show and tell. The wall hangings are for my MIL and her husband's birthday in January. I usually give them their birthday gift late on Christmas day, cause I love to see them open what Rick and I have gotten them or what I've made for them. The box is for my BIL. He loves my hand made stuff and when he specifically asked for something hand made for his desk. The layouts are for a sb for my MIL of her trips. They have such beautiful pictures of their trip to Cabo that I just needed to scrap them. Hope you enjoy looking!

Sounds like a lot of fun! MC when you have a fee moment sometime next week maybe we need to get together and chat about TLC. Thinking again of signing up but still on the fence. I'm sure you can swade me. LOL! Right now I'm sick with the stomache bug so it wouldn't be a good time. When I get better we need to catch up.
