Our group's monthly crop was yesterday. On Saturday's I volunteer at the county museum in the mornings. As there was no one to relieve me yesterday I had to stay until 3 or close early and I hate to do that. I didn't arrive at the crop until 4 pm and it runs from 11 am till 11 pm. I hauled all of my supplies in (I am the one who brings the sizzix and dies) and got my table set up and started to scrap and socialize. The first person left at 5, followed by another a half an hour later. Then everyone else started packing up. The lady that runs the monthly crops only brought in a few page kits, no supplies and nothing to sell. By 7 she and I were the only ones left (besides my DD) and she packed her stuff up. She told me I could stay if I wanted to, but it is a huge community building in the middle of the local power plant property. I didn't want to sit out there alone with my 13 year old. I didn't even know how to regulate the temperature or close up the building, so we packed up and left too. DH was shocked when we came in the back door. He's usually in bed when we get home from the monthly crops. It definitely wasn't worth me packing up all of my supplies, including the sizzix and dies, and blocking out the entire evening. I did get 4 LO's done because they were power LO's ready to finish. I think I spent more time packing and unpacking than I did actual scrappin. I think from now on I will call and ask how long she is staying before I decide to go. Just needed someone to complain to. Sandy
