blizzard

We are in the middle of an unbelievable winter blizzard right now all the highways are closed, people stranded everywhere! School called and asked for lunch to be brought to students as they weren't letting any of them walk home! I can hardley see the houses across the street. I haven't seen it this bad in years! I'm glad I'm indoors and I plan on staying here! My neighbor has a 4x4 and he is picking up the kids afterschool so that's wonderful! We have registration for the community events going on tonight and I'm volunteering at that so I hope it's cancelled-phone, YES!!! It's cancelled-phone, the school wants kids to come home now so my neighbor with the 4x4 is going to get the kids now! Praise God I just saw him drive by so my baby will be home safe soon! Pray for those out there that are not so lucky! Barb:o)

Here's hoping your babies are home safe and sound. Thank goodness for the neighbor with the 4x4! Now, snuggle in with the family and enjoy the snowfall!

Don't forget to take pictures and make hot cocoa.

Here's to hoping we'll get snow too.

Hopefully you have a fireplace you can sit in front of and keep toasty warm!

I live in upstate NY and we haven't gotten any snow. Ok we woke up to a dusting of snow, nothing big. That was our first snow for the winter. I want more. I want our puppy to go out and play in the snow, they would make great pictures. Hope your babies made it home safely. Warm up with some coco and enjoy from the inside.

Snow day! I remember those when I was kid living in Montana, Michigan, Massachutes, and Ohio. I sure hope you are all snug together now and the power stays on.

We've got weather warnings that it may actually snow in Sacramento in the next few days. I haven't even put on my winter coat yet this season. HA! If it sticks it will be the first time I've ever seen it here.

I hope all is well and the kids arrived home safely. I have friends in Saskatoon SK. Think I'll e-mail them to see how their doing. He's a bus driver...do buses run when there's a blizzard? We had one small snow fall the week before Christmas and the weatherperson is predicting snow tonight or tomorrow. We aren't use to this but than we live in Las Vegas NV so it's fun unless we have to drive. :-(

I want just enough to make it pretty for awhile and the boys can go sledding. Then it can go away! LOL Linda

We have more snow than I've seen in years! The snow bank by the driveway is so high it blocks the view! You wouldn't want the snow we have. It wasn't the lightly falling fat white fluffy flakes, this was little tiny flakes that were flying around so fast they hurt your face! Barb:o)

When I lived in Montana I remember my dad jumping out of the 2nd story window to shovel the snow away from the doors so we could get out of the house.
