HI.
Take out your beadazzler and pick out the rinestones you want to use on your layouts with the corresponding setters.
Find an old mouse pad, should be thick and foamy (your coluzzle mat would work ok).
Get some cardstock cut to size and shape that you want to incorporate into your layout or card.
Take your rinestone and set it into the cardstock pushing it into the mousepad. This pre-sets the rinestone into the cardstock. Now gently get the cardstock and rinestone out of the mousepad making sure it doesn't disloge from the paper.
Now transfer the cardstock with the rinestone onto the setting tool base and push down with the beadazzler gently not a lot of strength is needed because you don't want to crush the paper (unless you plan on sanding the paper down after,then it is ok.).
I used the hand held part of my beadazzler set because I missing part of the main machine.
I adhered the cardstock/rinestone onto the layout using glue dots as it won't fit into the xyron machine.
Hope this helps those of you who want to try something new.
I found that the designs that came with the beadazzler are good enough to use on cards or maybe a layout or two. Just reduce the pattern on a copier and then trace (using carbon paper) onto the layout or card.
