Minnesota New Model A treadle sewing machine

I'm trying to determine the manufacture date one of these machines that was sold through Sears. Sears had different companies make sewing machines using this name over a period of time. As of now, I believe the date is between 1910 and 1920.

The serial number is 330584. At least I believe this is the serial number.

Here is a link to a rather poor photo of the machine.

Any help would be appreciated.

BTW, the machine works fine.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I think this particular Model A was manufactured by the Domestic Sewing Machine Co. If you're in the US, you can call the White Sewing Machine Co. at 1-800-446-2333 or 440-808-6550; since White bought out Domestic in 1924. They may or may not have Domestic dating info.

It would be surprising if it didn't.

Googling found this...

HTH,

Mavis

That's for Whites, not Domestics.

Why don't you try to be more helpful than criticising the help others are trying to give?

If you look further down the list, some Domestics are listed...
