Kate,
Tried the link, said page couldn't be found. Now, since I don't have my RCTQ directory in front of me, I don't remember the exact date of your birthday....but happy birthday!! early/late/on time??? LOL Ken gave me a piano bench to go with the piano that recently joined our other antiques in the living room. Last night I got to go out to a Japanese steakhouse with some of my girlfriends - we all sat down at
630pm and didn't leave there until after 930pm!!!!Larisa

It was yesterday, so thanks for the good wishes. I'm now officially 50! Yikes! Not sure how that happened... ;)
Let me find another link...

Kate - Don't tease us! You know we're always eager to hear about a new sewing machine.
PS - The Swiss Army Knife looks fabulous - Happy Belated Birthday!
Gently pre-loved newish Brother machine bought on behalf of a friend as a prezzy for a third person. Details later...
Thanks. It is. :) I already got it some spare rotary cutter blades...
What a cool tool, Kate! Alan done good. And, Happy Birthday! They do have a way of sneaking up on you, don't they.

Yup, they sure do! I gave Alan a list: he likes to know that what he chooses will be really appreciated.
I have been coveting that gadget ever since they came out! Even watched several on eBay in the hope of scoring one at a good price. What a nifty, neat, totally cool, look-ma! thing it is!!! That Alan is a keeper.
Oh, and welcome to the second half of your life. ;-)
That's a wonderful, useful toy, Alan for a great person. Give Kate a big hug from all of us. Thanks for posting pictures. Like Larisa, I could get the other link to work. Happy Birthday, Kate! Emily
I know. I've kept him for 24 years so far. :)
hehehe... That's what I said to mum - I'm half way there! Knowing me I'll get so busy at the last minute, I'll be late! ;)
Thank you. :)
Happy Birthday, dear Kate! I love a man who gifts tools and that (tool) appears to be a very nifty one.

Kate, with my ongoing computer issues (and frantic rush to complete things for my own 50th b-day) I forgot about yours.
Happy 50!

Thank you!
I have missed quite a few birthdays myself recently... :(
Happy birthday Kate. The big birthdays are worth celebrating! After a cancer scare this year they're all worth celebrating.
The tool is amazing - it makes my Swiss army knife look like something out of a Christmas cracker. I've never heard of this tool. How long has it been around?
You are SOOO right! I found a lump a couple of years back, which took the gloss off THAT birthday and Christmas, but luckily it turned out to be cysts... Of the keep it 'til it goes away type!
I think it came out earlier this year. :) My other Swiss Army knife is a dainty little ladies one with a knife blade, scissors, nailfile, little red LED torch, screwdriver... Nice, but not exciting like this one! :)
DH Alan had a cybertool that had a million different screwdivers (or so it seams!) and TWO bottle openers! One corkscrew and one for crown corks (beer bottles!).
Freudian lingerie? ;->
