Here are the pics of the mommy & me skirts I made yesterday, although I made the babies today. The girls skirts took about an hour each, because of satin stitching on the bottom of the ruffle.....I really need a rolled hem function on my serger!
Kamila is the one with short blonde hair sitting nicely, pink shirt on. 5yo
Tessa is the 2yo with curly hair and a purple shirt.
Brianna is the baby, 1yo. Her skirt is from minimal scraps of this print (about 10" square of it), and a piece of scrap stuff I was going to throw away but never did. There are patches sewn on to the front and a ruffle in the same print.
All the girls skirts are just tubes, to make it easier on me! My skirt I copied from an old skirt of mine that I loved but the print wasn't stylish anymore and I was bored of it, so I took it apart. I love this new skirt of mine!
I meant to show a pic of my whole body, including face, but when the camera timer went off I was bending down, so too much cleavage in that shot. LOL OOPS!
The skirts are black with small flowers on them.
