My gf likes to make dance dresses and though much of the work can be done without much sewing (lots of draping of fabric), she very much wants to improve her sewing skills which are very basic. She wants to find a place to sign up for a few lessons, but she's afraid she'll be put in a class being taught how to sew from patterns. She really just wants to learn how to sew with good technique.
Any ideas how she could find such lessons? A fabric store? Put up an ad?
