If your "past year" is anything like my "past year" then i would add 3 or 4 years to the time estimate, so it becomes a more accurate in the past 3-4 years i remember a discussion ....

Did you try a search on the (dare i say it) google "usenet" groups engine ?

I tried a search there on "princess seam" with 600 hits in various sewing groups but the dates were 1999-2004 with a couple of discussions on knit dress princess seams, most on changing the princess seams on a pattern and similar.

Any comments on that pattern? It's in my stash, but I haven't broken the seal yet - looks like it could be a nice fall top...
