GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!

I bought newlook 6345, thinking that the 'easy' label meant just that, an easy skirt to put together. But it's not. Or maybe it is, but you wouldn't know trying to decipher the instructions! They suck! None of the pieces are labeled (on the instructions), some pieces which need to be cut out aren't on the cutting diagram, no mention of when or how (since it's logical to assume that beginners will pick up "easy" pieces, why wouldn't you describe the zipper process??) to insert the zipper....i could go on and on... >:(

Thankfully, the diagrams are somewhat more clear, so I'm hoping they'll get me through the construction. (And yay for muslin. So if I do end up making a huge blunder, at least it's not on some expensive fabric)

I'm so bloody frustrated right now, that I want to complain to simplicity (though I don't think it'll do any good). But I know now that I won't be buying from any of the simplicity lines anymore (which sucks cause they have some cute patterns :( )

It is a cute pattern.

Sorry you are having so much trouble. :( I agree that Easy is sometimes a misnomer. If you really get in a bind, holler. Tell us which view you are doing and where you are stuck. :) We'll talk you down from the tower. ;)

Good luck!! Sharon
