<ping> Ron Anderson

Hi Ron,

I just attempted to phone the Authorized Singer Service center in Bellevue WA, and got a 'disconnected number' message. My google searches have turned up zilch for Singer Authorized Service Centers anywhere in the Pacific NW (WA ID OR NV). I know it's asking a lot, but any chance you know of a good (Singer embroidery) service person within 500 miles of Portland, OR?

My Quantum XL5000/6000 is due for its 600,000 stitch check-up, and when I took it in at 300,00 stitches the local shop damaged it. No way am I trusting them with it again.

If all else fails, are you still able to do a routine (not warrantee) service? Nothing seems out of order, except an occasional tension (not certain if it's bobbin or needle) issue, but I know it should probably be professionally cleaned and lubricated. I would ship it to you before I take it back to the local shop.

I am seriously bummed!

To clarify, it's due for its 6,000,000 stitch check-up, and I had it serviced before at 3,000,000 stitches.

Ron replied to me via private e-mail. Turns out there is only one Singer Service Center for computerized machines now in the U.S. Road trip to Mesa, Arizona is in the planning stage for fall. :-(

I appreciate Ron, and wanted to let you all know that he did respond.
