As most of you know, I have decided to make 9 pairs of flannel pajama bottoms for my dear friends family. Well, the time from 10pm until around 1am seems to be the perfect time for me to get work done on them, so that is what I have been doing in between 'bekahs feedings.
As of last night, I have 6 pairs all cut out, marked, and ready to sew!!! I have to make 1 more pair for the 2yo boy, then the last 2 girl pairs (ages 16 and 7). Trouble is, I think I need to get more fabric (darn) to finish the girls pants. Somehow, I bought less fabric than I needed for the girl pants, and more than I needed for the guy pants...not sure how I did this.
On the plus side, I bought all the cording that i needed for all the pants, and whatever fabric is leftover from the guy pants can be used to do something for DH since it has football players on it.
I am not doing elastic, even though the waists are supposed to have elastic *and* a drawstring.....the 16yo girl usually wears a size "0"!!
Anywho...that's the progress. the fabric for DHs pants has been washed and dried and just needs to be ironed.....wahoo...progres being made!!!
