Sewing day done!

Phew! What a day! I was teaching from 10 until 3, with my assessor there most of the morning to see how well I was doing... Extra stress? Nah... I've been watched so much there's no extra stress involved! Had my lovely lesson plans all there, all my stuff - it's like moving house when i teach these sewing courses! - and the day went smoothly. The only machine hitches were when a bobbin ran out and when I forgot to raise the feed dogs on my machine after an experiment with some stippling! I *DID* fail to take my Singer 15 type bobbins with me, that fit the school Berninas, but luckily the centre manager teaches in that room and popped in at the right moment to make sure all was well, so I just borrowed a few from the school!

The results of the day can be seen on the web site - URL below as usual: look for the Teaching stuff, and the Christmas Sparkle title in Kate's Sewing Room to see all the Christmas stockings. OK, we didn't make 26, but they did sew them themselves! And just to drag this RIGHT on topic, go look at the stippling one of the mum's did! First time she's ever tried this sort of thing!

Oh, and Little Sis is wearing her Posh Frock at the party RIGHT NOW!! ;D
