Either that or they've had a request from DD for a prom dress based on their favourite starlet's Oscar gown in 3 days time.

But they are only allowed to claim to be a true sewing witch if they managed it!

Maybe he is just poor at spelling and thinks we're a bunch of lawyers. 'To sew' could be mistaken for 'to sue' and if that's the case the writer has a point; (s)he's just making it in the wrong forum.

Or possibly we are seeing the pathetic result of crossing a rabid fundamentalist with a nudist.

Hmmm....actually, one could replace the word 'sewing' (which is the only way the word is used in the original post, there's no 'to sew,' 'they sewed,' etc) with practically any other word and be really creative!

Brewing, snowboarding, quilting, rowing, etc.....

Don't these people have better things to do? I know I do. They should come over - I've got plenty of yard work & could keep them out of trouble for a while. Years even.
