Finally got rid of the evil spirits in my sewing machine!

Taria and Polly and a few others of you are very naughty enablers. I took the ol' Janome 4800 in for servicing and to find out why I was having so much trouble with satin and buttonhole stitches. My friendly repair guy showed me a l-o-n-n-g-g-g line of machines waiting for repair and said it could be 2 to 3 WEEKS before he could get to mine. So...... I simply HAD to trade it for a Janome 6600 Professional! Woooohhhooooo! No more evil spirits! (fingers crossed.....)

And "thank you" to Polly and Taria and the rest of you rascals. VVVBG

Oh Leslie you brave girl. Of course it was all you could do....no choice. One of these days I am certainly going to be faced with the same situation. I only hope I face it with such fortitude and courage. Woohoo!!

Sunny who is seriously lusting for the 6600

That is one great machine from Janome. You should enjoy it for a long time. I took one for an extended test drive at the local quilt shop/ dealer and was mightily impressed.

Leslie, does this mean you're going to have to give up golf and bowling? Always delighted to be an enabler. Any old body can be a good influence. Well . . . almost anybody. Nevermind. Polly

Well, that's one way excorise evil spirits! Is the weather as bad in MO as in IL. If so, you should have plenty of time to get acquainted with your new machine.

Maureen, whose car is still buried. I'd declare to day a quilting day but since I must be in Des Plaines for work tomorrow, instead of quilting, I'll be digging.

Think my DH would go for that since my repair guy is out for awhile due to hip replacement? Probably not.

Congrats on the new machine!!!!

Well, that's one way to get rid of them - trade them in for good spirits. Nicely done, Leslie!! Can the Furbabies come out now?
