Get Rid Of....

Talking about using stuff out your stash made me think of asking: What have you bought that you want to get rid of? I got that big metal sheet that you're suppose to use with the magnets it came with to hold down paper and such. Don't remember the official name. Hilda in Fl.

All those fiscar shears of various cutting patterns that I started out scrapping with 10 + years ago and never use anymore. They're in perfect condition.

I don't know if I want to get rid of it since I really don't know what it is for..........but I bought a glass mat a few years back and have never used it.

I purchased those fancy scissors originally for daycare, and have just gone through my stash to organize it and make it better--those scissors have got to go! Those scissors are something I can't stand. I also have a ton of magazines I filed away and never touch. I am thinking of donating them to a local hospital. They will make room for so much more stuff! No more magazines! Oh and that stupid hand sewing machine by Provo Craft--if you have been able to use that thing on cardstock without it tearing you are a better scrapper than I could ever be! Yep, that is about it, most of my purchases have been fairly thoughtful. Jacqui

I never use the fancy scissors - gave them all to my Girl Scouts. I don't like the page templates that have the circles, squares and rectangles together all over the page, but I do like the color blocking templates. I gave all of the templates but the color blocking ones to my DD who is just getting started along with the EK Circle cutter.....never did like that thing......... Sandy

For me it's the round so-called precision cutter by Fiskars. I've had it two years and haven't touched it in nearly that long. I've found a plain old swivel knife much easier to use. The paper shaping scissors are another one. I have a dozen pair, and use only two with any regularity. The rest just sit there. Yet, I bought another pair just yesterday. (It was on sale for .50, but still...) Most everything else at least gets fondled regularly.

OH, I forgot about the sewing machine.......it's in the box under the desk way at the back. Never could get the darn thing to work right. I bought it to keep from running up and down the basement steps to the regular sewing machine. Oh, well.......I really need the exercize. Never thought about that..........I exercize when I scrap cause I'm always sewing on my pages...... sandy
