Where can I find the model numbers on a Singer Machine? At the thrift store, I am looking at one that looks like this:

I think mine is older. The main reason I am interested is that I already have some attachments for a Singer slant needle machine, but no machine.So, that's a good reason to buy a 5th machine, right?
They're asking $35.00. It looks to work fine - I haven't played with it but they have a piece of fabric in it where they stitched all the stitches. There's no case, just the machine.
I value your opinions, but if you can tell me where to find the model number, I'll gladly do my own research. :)
