how's everyone been?
3 months ago i sliced my right thumb badly and have lost all feeling in it, though i have regained most use of it. so i haven't been sewing - or cross stitching - for a long while.
but yesterday i was poking around a fabric shop and came across some beautiful orange and blue flowered cotton-spandex that i would love to make into a sheath dress.
the only problem being that all my sheath patterns are of the non-stretch variety.
i know that i should cut on the bias when using wovens for a stretch pattern.
are there any rules going the other way?
