I am so happy with this! It's taken me nearly 2 years (thats how long I've been sewing) to get up the courage to do it and I did it and it was like magic! There was no pulling on the armholes, the neckline sat flat against my chest and best of all there was coverage! I used the article here:

cut the pattern and spread it by 2cm for a C cup. The pattern I was using had under bust gathers so I just gathered it more, and the side dart I converted to ease but next time I'll use a dart for this particular pattern because it looks neater. When I first made this pattern the neckling waved and gaped and the armholes pulled and now it all just sits beautifully! Here's a pic:
