Thanks one and all! I was off line for a week due to the hurricane. I now have electricity and water so will try the tub to wash this yardage. It is lovely stuff woven locally in some part of Virginia. I will post my results in a few days. Shampoo sounds great! I am off to the discount store to get a large bottle and some crème rinse - this will also work for some sweaters that I am going to wash and then cut up to make doll sweaters. I can just now imagine the lovely scent the doll things will have after I have used the crème rinse. Thanks a million one and all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sun
