I actually like how the top came out. After a little taking in, a decent fit. but what the beezus was i thinking when i bought this fabric at TSWLTH? it's a cranberry colored crushed panne. In all honesty, it's in the words of my daughter "tacky, but not tacky enough to be fun. just plain tacky mom".

I'm looking at this as a sewing lesson, but boy, it's kinda hurtful on the eyes

Well....um...hmmmm..... At least you have a good fit on that pattern now!! So you can get some good fabric and make it again. :)

I have had fashion disasters come out of the sewing room too. Things that seemed like such a good idea at the start, then somehow went horribly, horribly wrong in process. I like to think the most important part of projects like that is learning **something** from them. ;)

And kids are so kind when they critique things aren't they? lol

Authority Critic Daughters can be wrong. (Not that they'd ever consider such a thing.) Perhaps if you pair the cranberry panne with something very low-key such as faded denim or a gentle gray, the effect will be fun. Polly

oh, the panne will be worn with jeans. and the daughter, unfortunatly, in this instance, is 100% correct .
