where to buy boardshort fabric

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to buy the quick dry fabric used to make surfer board shorts. I see that fabric everywhere in the stores with the new surfer-inspired fashions, but I can't find it at any fabric stores. Any ideas? Thanks! KJ

check the outdoors suppliers. You want supplex or a 300 denier uncoated cordura
