I just managed to win the bid for a Huskylock 910 serger off EBay. It should arrive in time to do the narrow hem on the crystal organza for the flowergirl dress for my granddaughter I'll be making for DD's wedding. Plus lots of other good stuff! ;-)
I gave serious thought to the Huskylock 936, but the salesman took several tries at getting the tension right, and never could get it to produce a good cover stitch. I had some off-group conversations with Kate (thanks, Kate!), and finally decided to get a stand-alone coverstitch machine later when I have more time for the research. For now, the 910 will really fill the bill, my old Bernette MO234 is wonderful, but it doesn't produce a very good rolled narrow hem, and has no differential feed. I'm happy, happy, happy....
