Egyptian head dresses

Hi all, School play time again! I need to make a stack of male egyptian head dresses. Like the Sphinx wears. How do I get them to retain their shape? I don't want to make them like I do for the shephards in nativity plays - Material with elasic sewn in a circle onto it can someone point me in the right direction?. I have already made:-



16 x 1920's costumes 1x mummy
1 x eygptian goddess 6x jungle / tribal costumes
3x eygptian handmaidens 1x 1860's capelet (beaded)
3 safari hunters 7x dwarves
1x fez 1x turban 1x nightshirt
1x egyptian fortun teller

I have to make:-



7 small dresses 1x mirror costume (any ideas?)
7x jockies costumes 5x bookies
4x royal trumpeters 2x paiges
1x admiral 1x floozy
1x begger I know there is more and hey, I've got until the 9th of June Who needs sleep?............Amelia



Buckram around the top. It comes in varying degrees of stiffness. You might line with plastic canvas.
