Has anybody seen, in person, one of the Singer Nostalgic 30 "Reproduction" hand crank straight stich machines that are available from some Singer vendors. I know that they are not as nice as the original ones but are they mechanically useful and are the needles and parts reddily available. The machine is probably made for distribution to 3rd world markets and therefore should be "rugged". I would appreciate any first hand opinions. Thanks.
