My NYCO

I'm casting on nothing new for the New Year. I will instead knit like a nut, to the extent that my wrist will allow me, to finish UFOs before my surgery at the end of January. After surgery I'll probably spend my time spinning, as that is something I can do with one hand provided I choose my fibers wisely.

I also have my knitting machines out and I'm slowly cleaning them and putting them into working order. It does appear as if both of my

40s-vintage machines are complete and in working order, and it further appears as if they take standard needles available from my Singer sewing machine guy. As long as I don't want to do any manipulated stitch patterns I can turn out yardage with the things and make cut-sew projects in the summer after I finish PT.

Merry Christmas, y'all, or Happy Channukah, as the case may be.
